Your Grace Found Me!

Read Acts 22

"Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready, not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus." Acts 21:13

"The God of our fathers has chosen you to know his will and to see the Righteous One and to hear words from his mouth. You will be His witnesses to all men of what you have seen and heard. And now, what are you waiting for?" Acts 22:14-16

Before entering Jerusalem, a man, by the power of the Holy Spirit shared that Paul would be bound and handed to the gentiles. Everyone cried and begged Paul not to go. Although everyone thought he was crazy, he knew this was where God was leading him. When arriving he shared his testimony...ALL OF IT, without fear of what they would think or do.

I have done things that I am ashamed of. I have made decisions that God used to show his grace. I hold those things closely, afraid of what others would think. Paul did not worry about the consequences of sharing, but only worried about completing the tasks God had called him to. "We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28

Girlfriends, God has forgiven us! He has saved us! We were oh so undeserving and he loved us. He knew us then and knows us now and still loves us! He knows our hearts, good and bad. He knows our attitudes, and still, he chooses to hold us in his arms. He knew the choices we would make and he sent Jesus to save us. By His blood we are saved! Somebody out there needs to hear your story, so that they can realize that their sin is not beyond the reach of our savior. They too can be saved and rest in His arms. "And now, what are you waiting for?" (V. 16)

Father, thank you for saving me! Your grace covered me! You know me, past, present, good, bad, and you love me. I want to boldly share, without fear, where you want me to share. "I am ready...for the name of the Lord Jesus." (Acts 21:13) Empty me of me, and use me.

neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.-Romans 8:29  Write this verse on a post it and place it on your bathroom mirror to remind you of the love of  Christ!
