Is anybody there?

His splendor was like the sunrise; rays flashed from his hand, where his power was hidden. -Habakkuk 3:4

Where are you?  I can't feel you?  Are you there?  Have you left me?  Why aren't you talking to me?  These are the complaints that fly from my lips more frequently that I like to admit.  I will throw a pity party, playing the lonely victim.  And then, something beautiful happens.  This morning it just happened to be in the form of a sunrise that was so splendid.  This sunrise was so bright that it left me completely in awe of the artist.  And there, all I could say was thank you.  Thank you for painting that sunrise for me.  It was the perfect reminder that of course my father is there.  Not only is he there, but he loves me.  He showed me that with the sunrise today, and continues to show His love in my life and in yours.

Father, thank you so much for reminding me exactly how much you love me.  Forgive me for doubting that.  I pray that you will open my eyes to your splendor today.  Help me to see you in my day.  Thank you so much for your splendor, I am in awe of you.  In  Jesus name I pray-AMEN
