This little light of mine...

"And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another.  For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit."
-2 Cor. 3:13

When Moses came down from Mount Sinai, Moses didn't realize that his face was shining because he had been talking with God.  He did not  realize this, but boy did those around him.  There was something different about him.  He had a glow to him.  And, each time that he spoke with God he again would have this glow.  Everyone saw this, and they realized he was different.  Moses only had the opportunity to speak to God periodically.  But, everyone around him could definitely tell when he had been in "contact" with God.

There is something about pregnant women.  They are absolutely beautiful.  They have what many call the "pregnant glow".  They have this beautiful glow about their face, showing you that they have a sweet baby in their tummy.

With both Moses and the "pregnant glow", it makes me wonder if we too have that glow.  Pregnant women have the glow, because there is a child living inside of them.  Moses had that glow, because he spoke with God.  We definitely have the benefit here.  We can speak to God as frequently as we'd like or even better constantly.

"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." -1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

We also have the Holy Spirit living in us.  "Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?" 1 Corinthians 3:16.

Do we have that special glow?  When others see us, do they know that we are different?  Do they see the radiant glow that only comes from Christ?

Father,
Thank you so much, that I have constant access to commune with you!  Thank you that I can speak to you whenever I want, and constantly!  Thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit!  Thank you that you dwell in me!  God, help me to stay out of the way, so that your radiant light can glow for all to see.  I pray that when others see the glow in me, that they see you and desire and hunger for you.  I pray that I will have that glow today, and that you will be glorified by each interaction I have today!  I love you so much!  Thank you for loving me!
